Ceremonies
Thornton Hall is the perfect location to hold your civil ceremony, either in our gardens, lakeside arbour or your chosen wedding suite.
We also have experience in many religious ceremonies. With a capacity for up to 500 guests in our Torintone Suite, plus space for your ceremony decor, it is ideal for large celebrations.

The Torintone Suite
We can accommodate up to 500 guests in our Torintone Suite (depending on your specific requirements). The Torintone Suite is a self-contained venue which is fully air conditioned, has its own PA system and dynamic colour changing LED lighting surrounding 20 stunning crystal chandeliers.
It has a large reception area, its own entrance, bar, kitchen and toilets, and the Orangery lounge area, leading onto a private garden terrace overlooking our gardens.

Venue Dressing
Tailored Occasions is our in-house venue dressing service, which brings all sorts of ideas and possibilities to your event in the most cost effective way.
We work closely with several companies including caterers, photographers and venue dressers to help your day run as smoothly as possible.
Caterers &
External Suppliers
You are welcome to bring along any caterer. They must be able to provide us with public liability insurance and food hygiene certificates. Caterers will be asked to sign an agreement prior to the event for cleaning, conduct & removal of rubbish.
Caterers who have not been to our venue before must come for a site visit prior to your event. Caterers and external suppliers are to provide a risk assessment for any equipment they wish to bring in, along with PAT testing/safety for all equipment. We can PAT test each item for £15 per item.
